Notepad++ is widely used by Windows administrators. The reason is, Notepad++ is not just a good editor, it also allows to “understand” different languages, like HTML, CSS, Java, Pearl and many more.
My friend and fellow CCI (Citrix trainer) at that time, Christian Schwendemann (now Citrix employee), created NetScaler definitions for Notepad++. He sent it to me, but I found several things missing, so we collaborated. This happened some years ago. Christian announced it at the NetScaler forum at discussions.citrix.com. It had been there for many years, and it’s widely used.
Another fellow CCI, Mauricio Schäpers, found some room for improvement. He called his version “Citrix NetScaler Notepad++ Language Files v.2 for syntax highlighting“. I tested it, and it’s a bit better indeed. You can find and download it at VSQloud’s blog site.
